  • Tweet Timeline

    Tweet Timeline, 2012

My quick d3.js project. This analytics tool visualizes different types of information associated with a single tweet, allowing you to see the retweet time pattern, the reach of the tweet, as well as the relationship between the users who retweeted. Marketers or content providers can also explore when they should tweet a particular topic in order to maximize its impact. [prototype]

  • Bus Viz

    Bus Demand Visualization, 2011

A part of my research on limited-stop bus service design. I developed a visualization tool to facilitate understanding of demand patterns for different bus routes at different times of the day.

  • HELP Thailand

    HELP Thailand T-Shirt, 2011

A t-shirt design for Thai flood fundraising campaign. With help from Thai students in Boston area, we sold 700 t-shirts, raising more than $10,000. [news]

  • FeEx

    FedEx Internship, 2011

A project from my summer internship at FedEx Services. As a revenue management intern, I developed visual analytics tools that visualize different performance metrics of FedEx’s flight network (such as load factors and freight densities) and how packages shipped using different services are routed throughout the network. The tools facilitate analysis of both historical data and solutions from optimization models to gain insights into current network performance and understand behavior of the optimization models.

  • MoD

    Mobility-on-Demand, 2010

A project for Mobility-on-Demand class. The goal of the project is to explore fleet management strategies for balancing the supply and demand of vehicles and parking spaces. Using data from several existing car/bike sharing programs, we analyzed temporal and spatial usage petterns and evaluated efficiency of the systems. Additionally, we participated in a one-week charrette in Óbidos, Portugal with students from the Technical University of Lisbon, the Mayor of Óbidos, and key members of his staff. (with A. Mawani, R. Thurston) [news]

  • ORC tee

    ORC Tee, 2009

The winning design for 2009 MIT Operations Research Center (ORC) t-shirt. The design features a mirror image of the MIT logo in the middle of the word "optimize"--what we do for a living at the ORC!

  • Schedule Viz

    Flight Schedule Visualization, 2008

A part of my research on robust airline scheduling. To facilitate understanding of a schedule's performance, I developed and made use of visualization in addition to data tables and aggregate statistics. Showing all key pieces of information on the same page, the visualization allows me to easily see interactions among all components and understand how delays and disruptions affect aircraft and passenger connections.

  • CU-OCW

    Chula OpenCourseWare, 2007

A web design project for Chulalongkorn OpenCourseWare.

  • Voice Recognizing Toy

    Voice Recognizing Toy, 2007

A senior project for my Bachelor of Engineering degree. We developed user-independent speech recognition software embedded in Digital Signal Processing (DSP) board. Dynamic Time Warping algorithm is used to compare a feature vector extracted from a sampled voice signal to the stored templates. The limited processing power and memory of the DSP board makes this project very challenging. (with C. Boonsongsawat and S. Suppalertporn)

  • Speechbucks

    Speechbucks, 2006

A final project for Automatic Speech Recognition class in my senior year. It is a time management game like Diner Dash, where a player has to serve different types of coffee drinks to impatient customers in the queue. Instead of using standard mouse or keyboard input, a player controls the barista by saying (in Thai) the ingredient or action that he/she wants. The speech recognition engine was built using the Hidden Markov Model Toolkit (HTK). (with C. Boonsongsawat and S. Suppalertporn)

  • TH Baijam

    TH Baijam, 2006

One of the ten winning Thai text typefaces, awarded by Department of Intellectual Property (DIP) and Software Industry Promotion Agency (SIPA). As an attempt to standardise Thai font usage and avoid being sued by patent holders of foreign-made fonts, in 2010, the fonts have been designated as national fonts that must be used in official documents. • iKon Attack

    iKon Attack, 2005

An award-winning Symbian mobile game. iKon Attack is a unique camera-controlled puzzle game. In addition to the keypad, you can simply block the phone camera with your finger tip to interact with the game. A multi-player mode is also available through Bluetooth and IP Multimedia Subsystem (IMS) Technologies. The game was launched commercially. (with W. Euachongprasit, T. Hongpisuttikul, and R. Sukapirom) [more]
